Padded Atherstone. Double Bridle
The padded double bridle Atherstone was designed with Olivier Lepage, former vet to the French equestrian team. Its wide, rounded headpiece in soft leather spreads the weight over a larger area thus avoiding any tightness. Its noseband designed to the same principle allowing better communication between horse and rider.
The padded bridle Atherstone is handmade using extra-slow vegetable leather padded with natural calf leather. These two luxury leathers are known worldwide for their excellence.
The extra-slow vegetable leather is tanned by craftsmen for 12 months. It is the only one, thanks to the slowness of the tanning process, to unite two normally opposing, but necessary, suppleness and solidity.
These two leathers develop a patina with time.
The padded bridle Atherstone can be completed, if you wish, by bridle reins and hunter reins hunter (rubber inside) or plaited.
The buckles are in stainless nickeled brass.
Delivered in a special bridle cover of cotton canvas and Guibert box.
